The first three numbers of the computer IP must match the camera IP. The last number must be different. For example, the computer can be 192.168.5.160 and the camera 192.168.5.163, but not both 192.168.5.163.

Note: If you are unsure of your camera’s current IP address, please follow the steps below.

  1. For AV-1080s / AV-1280s / AV-1563s / AV-1180 Series Cameras

Connect the camera to a monitor using an SDI or HDMI cable. Completely power off the camera, then power it back on. After the camera completes its initialization process, its current IP address will appear in the upper-left corner of the screen for approximately 5 seconds.

  2. For AV-2000 Series Cameras

You can check and adjust the camera’s IP settings using the IR remote control. Connect the camera to a monitor using an SDI or HDMI cable, then press the [MENU] button on the IR remote. Navigate to the Network section to view or adjust the camera’s IP settings.

2Configure the computer’s Ethernet Setting

Windows

  1. Open Settings, then click Network & internet.
  2. Click Ethernet.
  3. Next to IP assignment, click Edit.
  4. In the drop-down list, choose Manual. Then turn on the IPv4 setting.
  5. Change the IPv4 address to match the camera’s IP range:
    • IP address: the “Computer IP” value
    • Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    • Gateway: see the table
  6. Click Save.

Mac

  1. Connect the camera directly to the Mac with an Ethernet cable.
  2. From the Apple menu, open System Preferences, then Network.
  3. In the sidebar, check that both Wi-Fi and Ethernet are active. Select Wi-Fi first and note the IP address currently assigned to your Mac. This is your router’s address and is not relevant when the camera is connected directly.
  4. Select Ethernet, click “Advanced,” open the “TCP/IP” tab, and set “Configure IPv4” to “Manually.”
  5. Change the IPv4 address to match the camera’s IP range.
  6. Click OK, then click Apply if prompted.
3Open the camera’s web interface

Enter the camera IP address in a web browser. Use the camera’s login credentials: admin / admin (default).
